“All of the diseases of civilization are due to improper function of the colon.”
(Dr. Harvey Kellogg, M.D. of the Kellogg Sanitarium)
The intestinal tract is the hub of our entire body – all organs, glands, even our brain, heart and cells are totally dependent upon a good functioning digestive system. In the Western World, most people have polluted their colons with unimaginable “stuff” and weakened their digestive function. When digestion is off, even good food can become acidic. As long as undigested materials and “stuff” remain within, our bodies grow weaker and we become more and more prone towards deficiencies and dis-ease.
A few great doctors have realized this.
“In the 50 years I’ve spent helping people to overcome illness, disability and disease, it has become crystal clear that poor bowel management lies at the root of most people’s health problems. Every tissue is fed by the blood, which is supplied by the bowel. When the bowel is dirty, the blood is dirty, and so on to the organs and tissues. It is the bowel that invariable has to be care for before any effective healing can take place.
Of the 300 autopsies performed at National College in Chicago, 285 (patients) had claimed they were had normal movements and only 15 had admitted they were constipated. However, autopsies revealed the opposite to be the case. Some of the histories of these 285 persons stated that they had had as many as 5 or 6 bowel movements a daily, yet autopsies revealed that in some of them the bowel was 12 inches in diameter. The bowel walls were encrusted with
The toxic waste must be removed as quickly as possible to halt the downward spiral of failing health. This is best done by removing accumulated fecal material from the bowel…..”
(Doctor Bernard Jensen, DC, ND, Ph.D.)
In a recent newsletter from Dr. Robert Young, author of the book, pH Miracle, Dr. Young told of a conversation he had with Dr. Jensen: “Dr. Jensen publicly stated that over 90% of dis-ease in America could be traced to unhealthy conditions in the bowel. Privately, he told me that it’s closer to 100%.”
So what really does Colon Health depend upon?
- Healthy internal chemistry
- Slightly acidic pH colon environment
- Full diaphragm breathes
- Balanced Energy Systems
- Nutritious and whole food diet for your type
- Good digestion
- Regular and full elimination
- Right living and working on self
Full diaphragm breathes to the perineum promote elimination. Breathing from the diaphragm to the perineum during colon hydrotherapy sessions will initiate peristalsis. Imagine, that, we can actually eliminate b breathing!
How we think, how we project, how we behave, how we communicate can promote happy cells (non-acid producing cells) that promote harmony and balance in the body.
Nutritious and whole foods right for your body type – eating to fulfill the needs of your body, mind and spirit - creates your future self. It takes education and discipline.
Choosing your food from the perspective of how it affects the acid-alkaline balance in your body once it is digested is a critical component. When the blood becomes acidic, then a pathologic condition can result. Alkalinizing food rebuilds and tones organs, nerves and glands. It helps maintain good health, and keeps one balanced, calm and reflective.
Limiting highly concentrated food is a discipline. These foods tax the digestive system and weaken related organs like the pancreas, gall bladder and liver.
Equally important as what you eat (and how you eat it), is whether or not you can digest and eliminate the food you eat. If we cannot properly digest our food we eat, then our bodies will not be properly nourished. Do we take small bites and chew, chew, chew? If we cannot eliminate the waste products within a short period of time, then our bodies will be poisoned.
Balancing Energy Systems. Matter goes where energy flows and when we balance the body during our colon hydrotherapy sessions, our body is able to tap into its innate intelligence for healing and vibrant health.
Even when we have achieved a beautiful balance, any change, even small and expected changes, may disrupt this balance.
These statements are nothing new to many of us. We need to work daily on “all of the above” so that we can experience every day - joy, vitality and vibrant health. It’s a matter of choice, isn’t it?
Yes, diet, water intake and exercise are contributing factors to a well functioning body, but what about making real fundamental changes in lifestyle? As my teacher, James Allred says: “Without addressing the root, whether emotional, spiritual, physical or mental, the client may improve….with limitations. The Heart and Spirit always desires true freedom. (www.JamesAllred.com)
